VIRGIL: Why not?
ALLIE: Well, they... For heaven's sake, Virgil, they just don't.
VIRGIL: Always thought the truth was simpler. Tell a man what you mean.
ALLIE: And a woman?
(...)
VIRGIL: Well, Allie, I don't really remember ever telling a woman anything.
(...)
ALLIE: Are you telling me that you've never had a woman?
VIRGIL: Well, of course I have.
ALLIE: And did you never tell them anything?
VIRGIL: Mostly, we just did what we were there to do.
ALLIE: And did you never tell them anything?
VIRGIL: Mostly, we just did what we were there to do.
